Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-07

1. Acceptance

By creating a SENTINEL account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

2. Service description

SENTINEL is a unified intelligence platform combining 7 modules: website monitoring, RSS reader, web directory, Q&A, automation pipes, bookmarks, and a personal dashboard. The free tier is provided "as is" with usage limits. Paid tiers (Starter, Pro, Business, Enterprise) include higher limits and additional features.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the platform for illegal activity, spam, or to distribute malware
  • Submit URLs that point to copyrighted content you don't own
  • Submit URLs to phishing, scam, or harmful sites
  • Attempt to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the platform
  • Use automated scrapers to bypass rate limits
  • Impersonate other users or organizations
  • Submit content that is hateful, violent, or harassing

Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

4. Subscription + billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your billing page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no refunds for partial periods.

If a payment fails, we'll retry 3 times over 7 days. After that, your account drops to the Free tier.

5. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime on paid plans. Free tier comes with no SLA. We may perform planned maintenance with at least 24 hours notice.

6. Content ownership

You retain ownership of any content you create. By submitting public content (directory listings, Q&A, comments, launches), you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and index it. We may also feature your content in marketing materials with attribution.

7. Limitation of liability

SENTINEL is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Maximum liability under any claim is limited to the total amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced via email and on the homepage. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
